Youtube ads
Most of the time we see preroll ads before videos, but besides them there are more Youtube ad types. Below you will find what you should know about Youtube ads:
Prerolls:
- You can run an ad with as short as 15 secs video (you have to upload it to Youtube)
- Flexible: We can start and stop anytime
- Cost efficient: You only have to pay when somebody “True-Viewed” your video (a True-View is counted when a user whatches your ad at least 30 seconds, or finished it if the video is shorter)
- One True-View is about 2-10 Ft (0.01-0.04 EUR) in Hungary
- For 5 seconds users have to whatch the video, but after that they can skip it (hint: in the first 5 sec the essence of the video should be told)
- You can target to locations, age-groups, genders, interests, topics, contexts and remarketing lists
- We can set daily, weekly, monthly frequency
- You don’t have to book the ads weeks before the campaign as for the TV commercials
- We don’t have to pay penalty if the campaign won’t start
- The free companion banner can be linked to the website
In-Display ads:
- We can advertise our own Youtube videos
- On the Youtube video pages our ad will look like a recommended video with a small picture and text
- Flexible
- Cost efficient
- We only pay after users click on the ad and start to watch our video (a little different as for preroll ads)
In-Search ads:
- We can bring traffic to our own Youtube videos
- Our ads will appear in Youtube search results for given search terms
- Flexible
- Cost efficient
